About us

GlobalMindED is a London-based education consultancy for families who want more than a list of school names. We design a thoughtful, personal education strategy for each child — and then walk beside the family until it becomes reality.

Our founder has lived the international education journey herself: studying in Italy, France and Singapore before building a career in London. She knows the British system from the inside — how schools think, what universities look for, and how to prepare a child without losing their childhood along the way.

We work with families around the world, quietly and attentively, one child at a time.

How we help

We save your time and energy

Research, shortlists, applications, deadlines, logistics — we take it all on, so your family can focus on what matters: the child. You get clarity and a plan instead of hundreds of open browser tabs.

Attention to detail

Every strategy is built around one specific child — their story, strengths, interests and your family's long-term plans. No templates, no shortcuts: the right school for this child, not a famous one for its own sake.

How we work?

A calm, transparent process — you always know where we are and what comes next.

1 / 7
  1. We run a diagnostic of your child's profile

We start with a consultation: your child's academic record, level of English, character and interests — and your family's goals and expectations.

    Timeline: the earlier, the better

  2. We create a personal admission strategy

Based on the diagnostic we shortlist the schools and universities that genuinely fit, and build a personal application plan around your child's level, deadlines and each institution's requirements.

Timeline: ideally 3–4 years before university entry — the earlier, the better

  3. We build the academic base and prepare for exams

Every institution has its own requirements: IELTS, entrance tests, essays and interviews. We prepare your child for each of them together with our hand-picked tutors.

Timeline: roughly 1–2 years before studies begin

  4. We collect documents and shape a strong portfolio

Transcripts, references, personal statements, CVs, portfolios. We gather everything correctly and on time — and sharpen the story that makes your child stand out.

Timeline: 12–18 months before studies begin

  5. We submit applications on time and without mistakes

UCAS or direct applications: we register in the systems, complete every form, submit correctly and watch every deadline so nothing slips.

Timeline: 9–12 months before studies begin

  6. We compare offers and handle visa and relocation

When the offers arrive we compare their conditions and choose together. Then step-by-step guidance through CAS, the visa and the practical side of the move.

Timeline: 6–9 months before studies begin

  7. We stay close during settling in and studies

We help your child find their feet in the new academic environment, arrange guardianship where needed, and remain your point of support throughout the studies.

    Timeline: individually

Kate Grineva

Founder of GlobalMindED

My name is Kate. I have lived the international education journey myself — studying in Italy, in France at Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and in Singapore at the National University of Singapore, one of the leading universities in Asia and the world. I then built my career in London. I know the British and international system from the inside: how school admissions committees think, what universities truly value, and how to prepare a child for admission without taking their childhood away. I created GlobalMindED so that every family feels there is a calm, knowledgeable person beside them, guiding them by the hand at every step.

The result — an offer from Imperial College London.

We came to GlobalMindED when we were completely lost in the requirements of British universities. They helped us build a strategy, strengthen the academic base and prepare for the exams. The result — an offer from Imperial College London. Thank you for the calm and the clear plan at every stage.

University admission

Cardiff Sixth Form College became a reality, not a dream.

What I value most is the truly individual approach: no templates — everything was built around our son. They found exactly the school where he feels comfortable and engaged, and guided us through every interview and document. Cardiff Sixth Form College became a reality, not a dream.

School placement

Miss Sara notices the child's worries and reshapes the lesson around them.

We are always ready to adapt where we can. The dedication Miss Sara brings to her work is incredible — I never stop being grateful for this opportunity. She senses the child's worries and rebuilds the lesson around them, even when it was not the plan. 🙏

Our daughter was accepted into a strong group with children 2–3 years older.

Huge thanks to Miss Katrin! Although they did not study together for very long, our daughter was accepted into a strong group where the children are two to three years older — so the lessons truly paid off. We will definitely continue!
